Photos of George’s Rustic Woodland Nursery

One of the things I love most about our home in Lexington is living next to the woods.  Every morning (or every morning I get up early enough to), I sit with my coffee and stare out at the trees.  In the Fall and Winter it is an especially pretty view.  The woods are queit, mysterious, and home to so many birds, chipmunks, squirrels and other animals (coyotes?) that we hear rustling about.

The idea for George’s nursery was to bring the woods inside.  In other words, a rustic and woodland animal theme.  I did the selections and design all on my own this time, and collected the items from anything like typical catalogs to antique stores to Etsy (items listed below), and used local framers and paper installers.

Really happy with the way things turned out!  George is one lucky boy (kind of wish this was my room!).
