Outdoor In-Law Family and Couple Portrait Mini-Session

My sister-in-law, Kelsey, lives with her husband Fabio in Italy, where they work full-time in their beer bar, Birreria dar Toro Seduto.   Needless to say, it is a special occasion when they visit the States.  About a month ago, Liz and Brent (MIL and DIL) hosted all the kids back in Sinking Spring, PA for a belated Christmas celebration.  I figured I should take advantage of the whole family being together and take some portraits.  I was really excited about taking them outside into the picturesque country-side terrain of Berks County where they live. Unfortunately, the weather was not in our favor.  Do you remember those below zero degree days in January when the weatherman on TV encouraged people to stay indoors?  Yes, well, that’s when we did this shoot!  I probably was able to take about 20 frames without everyone tearing up and running to car with frostbite (hence, a very mini-shoot).  Still, I am pretty happy with the results – can’t believe I got some with everyone smiling!  I also wanted to take some portraits of just Kelsey and Fabio, as they married less than a year ago and haven’t had any professional portraits since their wedding day.  A tall and handsome couple, right?  I have to admit, although I like these images I might be a bit more excited about the prospect of visiting Kelsey and Fabio in Italy and re-doing their portraits in the historic lakeside town of Bracciano where they live…
