Baby Gus has arrived!
Remember this maternity session in Beacon Hill? Well, Tabitha and Andy now have son August alive and kicking at home in Charlestown. Now, I knew this couple was creative (one is an art designer and the other an architect), but I didn’t realize just how much so until I got to see their apartment! They have put so much love and thought, not only into Gus’s adorable nursery, but their whole home. Take a look at the nailhead Maine plaque (where both parents hail from). Organized-by-color book shelves. Musical instruments they play adorning the walls. What a wonderful place for this little guy to come home to! To say I was impressed would be an understatement.
Baby Gus, for the record, is not T and A’s first baby. Nope, rescue dog Cash (who has his own blog), was. Although skittish in front of cameras (my big lens not so welcome at first), he warmed up to me eventually, and I really love the photos of these two “brothers” on the bed. Cash is certainly already Gus’s loving protector.
I hope these warm and intimate newborn photos will be enjoyed for years to come. I really enjoyed this photo shoot and look forward to seeing this little guy grow!
