Introducing the Power family – photographed this past weekend at the Chestnut Hill School in Newton. I have been giving mom Rebecca photography lessons at her home, getting to know her and her beautiful family in person and through her own images. It was a pleasure to finally get them out to play nearby and capture them myself! The twins, Michael and Cameron, were not too keen on sitting for the camera, so I focused on actions shots as they ran, climbed, and sometimes stumbled their way through the playground and hill behind the school. It was very clear that they already possess the athletic Power gene (the family has a huge tennis legacy at Longwood, the club through which I was introduced to them). Daughter Jessica was having her fair share of fun too, sometimes egging on her younger brothers but mostly encouraging them. Jessica is clever and sassy and I have to admit I am obsessed with her blonde curls. Obsessed.
Another beautiful family on another perfect New England fall day. I am one happy photographer.
